And yes. Congrats are definately in order -- I read Paladin on your recommendation, and it was one of the best things I've read in the last year. A deserving win.
while I was at worldcon, I sadly had to leave saturday before the Hugo ceremony, but my friends were at it and I hear Lois was perfectly charming (as always) when she went up to accept the award ^_^
(and I met her and got 3 books signed and a picture and.. yay!)
Lois was sitting in the row in front of us, but we didn't get a chance to congratulate her as she didn't come back to her seat. Since Novel is the last category, the winner stays up front for the pictures. And since we didn't win.....
I didn't see her at the Hugo party afterwords, but I did get to meet and talk briefly with William Tenn. He's still going strong and I wish I could have gotten to more of his panels.
