Nope, not boring. I'm a nosy person by nature, so I enjoy seeing tidbits from other people's lives - your nights out, your family, your beautiful observations about things. I love reading about Peg-the-author, which somehow makes Peg-the-person even more interesting. (You know how you were always amazed as a kid that your teachers had 'real' lives? ;) )
I'm also finding it very interesting to watch you go through the process of brainstorming and researching your novel. I have no such ambitions myself (given that I seem to be purely a short-story writer, and couldn't come up with an 'original', non-fanfiction idea to save my life) but it's fascinating to see all the work that goes into the book we pick up on the shelves. I've worked on the technical aspect of that -- typesetting the books before they go to print -- but that's all.
One of the things I like about your posts is -- most of our friends still have very young children, and we're only getting our first next year. So I'm enjoying seeing -- or perhaps getting the warnings ;) -- for the different sorts of joys and frustrations you encounter as they get older too.
