The car was the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning. The very first thing. I went to the John Kerry campaign rally yesterday and so got to see him and hear him speak. I've heard much or most of what he said, but yeah, it really resonated with me. Minnesota is now in a dead tie. The suspense is terrible.

I didn't write or research-read yesterday. Instead, I've been working on this Lord of the Rings mood set. It'll take another day or two to finish. I don't feel guilty, and am accepting it as a stress-reliever.

I have had a headache for three days. I don't think I've been getting enough sleep

I feel confident in volunteering my dear sweety's services for stress relief. Particularly in the headache area, she has skills that would be very useful to you. Among other things, she's train in CranioSacral Therapy, a gentle form of bodywork that deals very well with headaches (I say from experience). Shall I have her call you at home? Or you can feel free to give her a call; we're in the MN-Stf directory and she's home all day.

I'm looking forward to the LotR mood set and will dig out my copies for a couple of ideas for the holes you mention up-post.

This is not right. This is Minnesota, for crying out loud! It should be safe DFL!!! (So much so that when I was reading a "West Wing" fic the other day that had a Republican carry MN, it completely broke the spell of the fic for me...)

*sigh*

Oh well, I've voted. Can't do any more.

It's just not true that you can't do any more than vote. I can make specific suggestions on what you can do for the DFL, even if you have as little as one hour of free time to give to the party between now and then.

I'm in Australia, pretty much permenantly (hence the early voting). Is there anything one can do as an ex-pat?

*snerk*

Ok, I hadn't considered that. :-)

In truth, I can't think of anything that needs doing remotely at this stage. It's a ground war now. Whomever gets the voters to the polls is what will decide the election.

My current obsession with political blogs pays off sometimes. :)
