I did a half hour of treadmill and a half hour of weight lifting and an ab routine today. My pedometer reads 14278 steps for the day.

Now I have a foot cramp. There is no justice.

Does your pedometer randomly add steps? I have just started to use one which I attach to my belt or waistband and when I take my belt off it obviously jiggles it and adds steps so I am not sure how reliable it is. It could be doing the same thing in other situations too. Just wondering....

No, I really have been walking that far. Mine's a Digiwalker, and it's very reliable.

I wasn't implying that you hadn't walked that far!! I was just interested if your pedometer is more reliable than mine! Sorry for the confusion.

No, I didn't take it that way! I know there are a lot of unreliable pedometers out there because I've bought some of 'em. Don't ever buy a Sportsline, for example. They're pieces of junk.
