Saw Phantom, at cakmpls's recommendation. I never saw the stage play. It did remind me a lot of Cyrano de Bergerac.

Yeah. This plugged into something very powerful indeed in my back brain. Thanks for the recommendation, cakmpls. I may get the CD, and probably the movie, too, when it comes out.

Mom and I loved Phantom. Mom a little more than me. She bought the CD right after and then all I heard about was "Phantom Phantom Phantom..." : )

Get the original cast album, not the movie CD. The voices are better.

I agree. I listened to several different versions, and the original cast CD was definitely the best.
