Excellent! What will you be reading from??

(Planning ahead for once; I hope to be there as long as you don't mind a toddler in the back of the audience-- we'll remove ourselves if Roo gets noisy.)

DOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Tuesday night... class night...

Maybe it's something non-essential I can slip out of for just a bit.

I'll find out tonight.

I'd feel awfully guilty to have you miss class, but if you can come, I'd be delighted to meet you.

Heh. Jen is currently reading The Curse of Chalion. She popped up from it last night for just a moment and said, "In case you hadn't noticed, I really like Lois' stuff. We need to meet this woman!" I nodded sagely, and she said "And Peg, too!"

So we would both love to meet you. Slipping out of class depends on whether the subject that night will or will not help me avoid burning to death. ;)

I suppose you shall simply have to (innocent whistle) do more readings... Jen and I aren't yet Minicon folks; this year we'll be at Convergence and at World Fantasy in Madison.

Dooooh... okay. Class starts at 6; what I'll do is drop by Dreamhaven around then and stay until maybe 7, at which point I'll have to scoot for Anoka. That night's topic is firefighter survival and rehab; there'll be physical drills involved, so if I'm lucky I can skip the classroom stuff and show up for the fun. And that way I'll still get credit for attendance. So apologies in advance for skipping out of your reading early.

Not at all, I'm just glad that you can be there for at least part of the time.

Class night...you and me both. It would be mildly amusing if we both continued to fail to meet on weekends and then finally saw each other at the reading. Only mildly, though. Not something we should try to make happen.

The failing, that is, not the reading.

Break a pen (or whatever's authorese for good luck)!

According to [livejournal.com profile] lsanderson, it's still scheduled for March 22.

I should probably call Dreamhaven and ask, again, just to make sure....

Oh, dear, I didn't read your first message properly; I see what you're saying. Hmm. I'd better call DreamHaven, too.

I did, and yeah, all the postcards went out with the wrong date. It is supposed to be March 22. Sheesh.

The right date did get on the Einblatt.
