Those are very cool pictures. But... it says that the 2004 Ice Palace may be the last. Is this so?

I hadn't heard that myself, but it's possible. The one before this ice palace almost bankrupted the St. Paul Winter Carnival association, so it was a real triumph to get this one built. People love ice palaces, though. Sometimes there has been a gap of many years between ice palaces, but eventually, they get built again!
