This is unrelated to your post, but I wanted to tell you that I re-read The Wild Swans this afternoon and was reminded how much the book touches me. The end brought tears to my eyes, not only because it was so sad, but because of how far we still have to go towards the treatment of HIV/AIDS. I was also struck by how much work we need to do to obtain equal rights for GLBT folks. *sigh*
Anyway, I wanted to thank you for writing such a magnificant book - it's a lovely gem.
