Dammit, why can't I find my "Frodo Lives" T-shirt? I really wanted to wear it today.

And no, the "Penguin Lust" T-Shirt is not an acceptable substitute.

Hmm. Actually "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" probably would be a good shirt wear to wear to kickboxing/sparring.

You don't have to wear your gi for sparring?

For kickboxing, people generally wear their gi pants and T-shirts, since it's just for exercise. I think you're supposed to wear a National Karate shirt, but I saw lots that didn't. I wonder if that's a rule for just the kids, not the adults. I think some don the gi coat for sparring, and some don't. Some don't even bother with belts. I'll ask about dress code today.
