Lions free kidnapped girl. Police say three lions rescued a 12-year-old girl kidnapped by men who wanted to force her into marriage, chasing off her abductors and guarding her until police and relatives tracked her down in a remote corner of Ethiopia.

Okay, that's seriously weird. But it makes sense if they took her for a cub.

You know... when even the local wildlife intervenes, maybe it's time to examine your "marriage proposal" practice.

I'm sorry - it's not that it's funny - in fact what was happening to her is sickening - but it's so bizarre that it begs a bit of off-colour response.

Wow. And the article said there are only a thousand of those lions left - it would be cool if they can be saved in turn.

I'm horrified/disgusted to read that this kind of abduction is so common in that area; and that they call it 'marriage.'
