Girls come home tomorrow

They have been building forts in my mother-in-law's townhouse livingroom with blankets and sheets and chairs.

The blankets and sheets and chairs have not been put into any unusual positions in my house for a week.

This house has been so quiet without them.

I am SO ready for them to come home.

My "little girls" are now 40 and 44, and I still sometimes find that the house is too quiet without them. They are each only a phone call away, but I still miss watching their faces as they described some new experience away from the home front. Thank you for reminding me of all of those happy times.

My son is at a sleep-away camp, and though he does write, I can hardly wait until we get him back.
