I am abruptly no longer receiving comments by e-mail. Anyone else had any trouble with this? I haven't changed any of my information, and up until now haven't had any trouble getting my e-mail from my service provider. Ideas?

Testing, testing, 123?

There was a day last month when I suddenly got comments that were a couple of days old, for no apparent reason. I left a post asking if anyone else was having trouble, but it seemed to be just me. Maybe this is one of those times, LJ having an account-specific hiccup?

And why were you up at 1:15? Ergh.

I've had this happen a couple of times. It is an LJ glitch, and should clear itself up in a day or two.

Once, when this was happening, I had accidentally hit the "no comment emails" box in my lj client for a message. The setting was ticked every time I posted it.... Check the "edit journal" button on lj and see if you have that setting turned on.

It happened with me, but was because my ISP started treating LJ communiques as spam. The only thing that worked to get my messages again was to switch email accounts.

That is so extraordinarily lame. ISPs that block sites based on volume instead of unsolicitedness need to get thwacked. I had the same problem with my ISP and Neopets back when I was playing there.

LJ is just wonky sometimes. I haven't had this particular problem, but sometimes I can't see comments in my own journal or I get the wrong sumary number of comments in secific other people's journals, even though I can see all of them, or whatever. It's very annoying, but it usually clears up in a day or so. I hope yours does, too.

Completely off topic...
Here's a site I thought you'd like because all your friends and fans are so far flung.

I think you should make a Peg map.

I already use the LJ map, which I like quite well (there is a link to it on my user profile page). Here is mine. Go to that site, put in your username, and it will give you yours!

I like the Rising Concepts map for the easily inserted comments.
