makinglight has posted an excellent list of links having to do with Veterans Day or Remembrance Day, if you prefer, and I point you to it here, in honor of all those who have fought and and for all those who have died for their country. Since I have such a strong interest in things Tolkien, I will point you to one in particular, picture here, link here, on Frodo and the Marshes of the Great War.
