Sounds about right, I think . . .

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought of the Moon for you, but I think that's because it's not a card that comes up for me very often (ever?) and I don't connect with it...and since you and I are pretty different, that may make perfect sense. :)

Thanks for the link, btw. It's fun, and it flattered me by giving me a card I love but never get in my own readings.

You can and should trust your intuition.
I thought this phrase should be repeated. Trust your instincts. Don't over-think or rationalize too much. Do what your gut tells you is right for you and to hell with what the rest of us think.

Intuition:
1. The act or faculty of knowing or sensing without the use of rational processes; immediate cognition. See Synonyms at reason. 2. Knowledge gained by the use of this faculty; a perceptive insight.

(I don't know why, but you've been in my thoughts a lot lately. I'm hoping for many lovely peaceful hours for you during the hectic holiday season -- make sure you take time for yourself).
