Gloating over new acquisitions

I saw one when I went to visit kijjohnson, I was overcome with covetous lust; I ordered it off the Internet, and it came yesterday. I have my new Levenger lap desk! Lovely for handwriting work, reviewing loose manuscript pages, and will also be useful when I get a laptop (someday!):

Also, my latest acquisition from the Noble Collection arrived today, and I wore it for my evening out at Vincent's with B. minnehaha:



Okay, so I can't buy anything else for awhile. (Except maybe a hot water heater.)

is the brooch, which I got first. I debated getting the necklace for a number of months (same design, why bother? I tried to tell myself). But I'm glad that I did.

Levenger is a dangerous place. I find myself reading their catalog regularly even when I'm having to decide between paying the phone bill or the electric bill. :-P I think my favorite Levenger acquisition is the wooden filing cabinets, although the night table runs a close second.

I noticed it, too. I thought something on the other of: "I thought she got a pin. I didn't realize it was so elaborate. It looks really nice." But then I forgot to say something about it.

btw question about Ingrid..what's her reaction to Rolf? Does she want a father figure, or since she's never had one, she's never felt the need for one? Is she as independent as Agnes? Your story is unraveling so well.
