Wrote a little scene between Jack and Rolf, 650 words. Don't know if I'll use it, but that's not the point. I've been thinking out plot and structure, and looking back at where I've come since September 4, I've figured out a fair amount. Not all of it, of course, but enough to get going. So I've promised [livejournal.com profile] kijjohnson I'd write some scenes this week, without worrying whether they connect up or whether I'd use them. Just starting to get flow-of-words starting. I've e-mailed this one off to her tonight, and so will retire to my bed and enjoy the sleep of the virtuous.

And I'll really feel virtuous if I actually get up at 5:45 tomorrow morning and do Pilates for Dummies. I've set my alarm. We'll see if I actually get out of bed on time to do it.

Night, all.

Funny you should say this... my gym has just announced that they're going to start offering a Pilates class, something I've wanted to try for years. The problem is that it's Friday morning at 6:15.

If you get up and do Pilates tomorrow, I'll give the class a try on Friday.

[Laughs]. Well, you're committed then, because I got up and did my tape! It's not easy. Let me know what you think of it.

Cheers,
Peg

Oo, writing! Writing is good! Especially amidst all your travails.

I got to read this new scene, and it's really good. And I'll get to read more of it, too. Ha!

Hey^_^ I felt bad about you being cooped up and I thought I'd share a Diana Wynne Jones book with you that you might enjoy and cheer you up. I'm sorry I didn't post this a few days ago, but this is the soonest I could do it. You can download the ebook here:

No, I don't object in the least to your having friended me. The more the merrier.

I haven't read Diana Wynne Jones' work, which is an awful thing for a fantasy writer to have to admit. I do intend to get around to her, as everyone who has read her work speaks highly of it.
