I forsee a long future ahead of Solveig of trying to get Jack to say something expanded. He doesn't have much of a need to justify or explain himself, does he?

A couple things leapt out at me, but most strongly -- Jack isn't loyal to one brand of coffee? Pragmatically fond of strong coffee, but not a snob? I'm also wondering why it's a Krups espresso machine, when there's a profound lack of other brand names.

Is this written in Jack's voice?

Reading your LJ for a bit before I go to bed is my treat for myself, for having actually finished the extremely annoying present I made for mum. This made me laugh right out loud, and was just lovely.
