Status report

Still no hot water. Rob says he has to go back to the store again to exchange the parts he's purchased (for the fifth time).

Took both the girls to the doctor's today. The result of the visit was . . . inconclusive. Not a bacterial infection, so no antibiotics, of course. Could be mono. The doctor told me that he could test for it, but even if we knew it was mono, it wouldn't do much good, because they can't do anything for it anyway. Decided to skip the blood test. Fiona's temperature was 102 tonight, so guess she's not going to school tomorrow. Again.

Ouch. I'm sorry you have no hot water, especially at this time of the year for you (although it certainly wouldn't bother me!) and especially sorry about the girls being sick. Here's to some hot water and a speedy recovery for them.
