"The girls are next door at the Martins. Could you go and retrieve them and put them to bed? Sorry.

It's pretty much stopped bleeding, so I can drive myself. It'll probably need just a couple of stitches. Hurts like hell, though. I'm going to the Highland Urgent Care.

Will need lots of love and chocolate when I get home."

Later.

Hope you feel better soon! I can sympathize - I hacked my thumb today and it was bleeding on and off all afternoon. I just got back from the clinic where they gave me a choice between some sort of medical super glue and stitches. Tough choice. Love and chocolate sounds wonderful.
Good wishes to you!

Which did you go for?

When I do work at the bench (jeweler), I keep a tube of CA(cyanoacrylate) glue handy for deep-but-not-enough-for-stitches cuts.

I went with the glue and it seems to be working ok . Thar's probably very handy for you to have around.

Thankfully, thus far it's been more often "good to have around" rather than "I'm really glad I have it now!".

Which reminds me, I should really put a medkit in my car.
