Usually, Daylight Savings Time doesn't bother me, but . . . urgh.

I want my hour back.

I've been not looking forward to this first morning since...well, since we gained that hour.

It didn't bother me as much until my wife and I found ourselves trying to get the one-year-old to settle down and go to bed an hour early. Small children do not understand the concept of Daylight Savings.

Fortunately, we managed, and he didn't wake up an hour early this morning :-)

Yeah, this year in particular is a bloody casualty of the Daylight Savings Time war. What I noticed last night (earlier this morning?) was that with so many electronic devices including our computers instantly blipping themselves ahead at what was once 2 AM, the hour feels more 'stolen' than ever before.

"Switch Back So's There More Light In The Evening Day" is my favourite day of the year.
