I pointed people a couple of weeks ago to a very funny entry by [livejournal.com profile] msscribe. I friended her because of that entry, and I've read her subsequent entries with pleasure; she seems to be an extremely interesting woman with a gift for intelligent observation and with a keen delight for the ridiculous. We've exchanged a few comments, including several just last night, when a poem she wrote led me to direct her to Terry Garey's poetry.

I just read in [livejournal.com profile] angiej's LiveJournal that [livejournal.com profile] msscribe collapsed today and is in ICU, possibly with brain edema. Check [livejournal.com profile] clarabella21's journal for updates. Keep her in your thoughts, and if you know of any other of her friends who might not have heard, please pass the news along.

I can't begin to tell you how touched I was when I read this. I made my husband go to borders today and pick up BOTH of your novels. I can't wait. Reading and writing seems to take my mind off everything. I'm very much looking forward to it.

*hugs*

Keep getting better!

Your husband may have difficulty locating the first book, as it may be out of print now, but you should be able to find it at a library. The second is certainly still out in the bookstores. If you do manage to snabble up copies, please let me know what you think of them. Thanks.

Cheers,
Peg
