Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] naomikritzer, who got it from [livejournal.com profile] porphyrin.

Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it's something that's never happened. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.

Do you remember that road trip we took to Vegas? SO Hunter S. Thompson. And then those cute Secret Service agents pulled us over? That was kinda hot, wasn't it? Who knew they had such big guns? Love to see our tax dollars at work. And Jon Bon Jovi coming to our rescue was just the icing on the cake. I can't believe you told *Jon Bon Jovi* to kiss your ass! You da woman.

Do you remember the first time we met? It was at that coffee shop you go to...I cant think of the name. The one you frequent on Friday nights. We sat and talked about comfort clothing, and growing up, and all sorts of other stuff until the cafe staff threw us out.

My favorite memory of you is the time you, me, Ael, and Delia got together for the gaming session. After a couple rounds of Set (http://setgame.com/set/index.html) (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] elfs!), we switched over to Settlers of Catan. I suppose I really shouldn't have been surprised at how fast Delia picked it up, but did she have to play the robber on me just when she did? *sigh* Oh, well, I'll do better next time.

We drove with our kids out to Stillwater and spent the day wandering around the town and Interstate Park (which lets you walk to Wisconsin). Fiona and Delia admired the beautiful dolls in that store that sells both toys and Tibetan stuff, and Molly lobbyed for an antique doll crib in one of the antique stores, and we poked around the used bookstores (though the kids weren't going to tolerate much browsing in Loomis, the theological bookstore in the old church). Dinner was a picnic next to the river. The weather was perfect; it was a lovely day.
