That I have a depression in my skull, about, oh, maybe 1/16" to 1/8" in depth. The pad of my index finger comfortably fits inside of it. You would probably not be surprised to learn that it's situated exactly where I got the stitches last week because I banged my head with the open kitchen cabinet door.

Hmm. Should I be worried?

Oh dear. Could you perhaps call the hospital and run it by them, see what they think? It might just be a temporary effort to the injury, but you might want to check it out, just to be safe. Hope your head is feeling much better.

If they did not x-ray you when they did the stitches, I'd think it was worth being worried, and worth getting it checked out in case.

It's probably nothing to worry about, but you would want to be sure it wasn't.

What do you think could possibly be the problem? You hurt yourself, got stitches, and can expect to have a scar. If you'd damaged the bone of your skull, they'd have hospitalized you to make sure you didn't get some weird brain infection. Or they'd have mentioned "concussion." Since they didn't, your skull is fine. If you have a soft-tissue infection, Rob could see that it was there. If your injury site looks OK, then you're just going to be healing a little imperfectly. It's OK.

The reason I can't walk straight today is from trusting that doctors would surely have noticed everything and checked everything and tested what needed to be tested.

People in emergency rooms are busy. Bones of the skull are hard... people only have one body per life, what's the harm in checking everything is OK?

I intended no dishonoring of your experience.

A doctor talked to Peg about her injury and care last night and agreed that she had no damage to the bones of her skull nor to her brain.

K, [she's just... dented]

Yes. It's where they implanted the mind-control pod.
