Slept about ten hours, woke up feverish and achy. Will not be going into work today.

I can tell I'm really sick, because I don't even want to read.

ME TOO.

Also one of my co-workers, my sister, my nephew, and the director of one of the units I work with in Toronto. I recommend Benylin all in one. I'm taking them but still not able to get into work. (Dizzy and achey don't mix well with public transit.) Do you have a sore throat?

No sore throat. I think this is my body going haywire from spring allergies. I have taken Claritin but haven't really gotten relief yet.

I have friended you, I hope you don't mind. I'm going into work, only because I have to. I hope you feel better soon!

*hug*

Not wanting to read is always a good sign for me, too, as to how sick I am.

I hope you feel better soon.

I'm at home, too, with the same thing you have. I'm at the tail end of it (I hope!) but after going to work yesterday and stubbornly suffering all day, I decided I need one more day of rest.

I couldn't read either! On Saturday I hacked and coughed though DVDs of Keen Eddie. Sunday I watched a bunch of Looney Tunes, then figured I was being a maroon and tried to read. The best I could do was an old novel by Frank R. Stockton. Well, it was *restful*.

Too bad it's so nice out! I'm home as well, though only from general malaise. (I think I missed a couple of doses of my anti-depressant and my vitamins and it's catching up with me.) I plan on getting out into the garden later this afternoon for some good weed-pulling, earth-digging therapy. I hope you feel better soon and that someone brings you pho!

That's my marker, too. If I'm too tired to read and too tired even to watch TV, then that's definitely sick. Yesterday I spent part of the afternoon just lying in bed with my eyes closed, not asleep but not feeling like doing anything else.

I hope you feel better soon. Ed, Kiera and I all went through drastically different iterations of the same (we think) virus in the last couple of weeks. Kiera ran a high fever for a day and then was completely fine. I was completely flattened by intense nausea accompanied by diarrhea, with some fever, and felt weak and queasy the next day. Ed was flattened by the nausea, ran a fever for the better part of a week, and developed a horrendous hacking cough so bad he tried sleeping sitting up for a couple of nights. (He wound up getting codeine plus some new inhalers from his doctor. I wish codeine cough syrup were still available OTC -- it is much more effective and coughs can become self-perpetuating.)

Anyway, I hope you have the mild version of it.

Feel better. Feel better! FEEL BETTER!
Yes, I know yelling at you will probably not help. But you never know.

For what it's worth I'm feeling off as well, but (as I say in my post) I'm pretty sure it's because I've taken Benadryl (sp?) the last two nights. Don't think I'll take any tonight, though, otherwise I'll be really screamingly "jimmy-jammed" tomorrow.
