Don't feel bad!

And I want to stress to you that your reply didn't make me feel awkward; it's just that it brought to the forefront of my mind something I've been mulling over for quite a while, for a number of years. That initial bit of advice that I got from Tim Powers has made me do a lot of thinking about how writers should interact with other people. And that's simply because I believe that it's our business to consider we should all interact with others ethically, whatever our role in life (writer or otherwise). It's kind of a preoccupation with me.
