And "meh" was sort of my reaction, too, but I don't care because I WANT TO READ IT RIGHT NOW!!!

Seriously? That just doesn't *sound* like a convincing title. :-\

I dunno if it's the real final title. But it's what is appearing at her website.

I can't think of a reason why she'd put it up behind the door if it weren't The Title, but it seems odd that there's no explanatory note like I remember from the past door openings.

Huh?

Could it be the name of a place?

I suspect not. "Hallows" -- as in sacred items -- probably refers to the horcruxes.

Horcruxes aren't sacred, though, if they're meant to be destroyed. Hallowed ground is holy. The Hallows sounds like a place name to me, much like The Narrows is a place.

They'd be sacred to Voldemort, though (for certain values of "sacred," of course!), and we know that they need to be destroyed for Harry to win. That would seem to make them "deathly" to me. Sort of anti-hallows, if that makes sense.

On the other hand, I could certainly see Deathly Hallows applied as a place name to the graveyard where the Riddles are buried.

I suppose Harry Potter and the Temple of Doom was a bit much to hope for.

I believe the Hallow is where Harry's parents lived, no?

That was Godric's Hollow, I think...

I had to wait four pages back into my friends' list for this.

So not worth it.

Sounds like a "Three Investigators" book.

Oops. Sorry about that other link. I just left it there temporarily, and forgot to pick it up before posting the comment.
