Peg, I was just reading Risk, Reward and the New Class (http://www.2blowhards.com/archives/2007/02/risk_reward_and.html) at 2blowhards.com, and what they're talking about is closely related to what you were saying earlier about the sharply increased differential between CEO compensation and worker compensation. They mention that, in fact, and seem to think that it's caused by the lack of a rise in the level of personal risk in these jobs corresponding to the rise in compensation. Correct or not-- and I think they are-- it seems like a pretty sharp analysis that you might enjoy. (Unfortunately, there's no feed from this site.)
