We got a lot of snow dumped on us today. I went out and cleaned off the driveway and sidewalks. We didn't make it to church, which made me feel guilty since Delia had a First Communion class we were supposed to attend together, but I figured a lot of other people would probably be missing, too.

The kitchen was a mess all day. The girls have blown off their chores for much of this week and are not going to be receiving all their allowance. I spent much of the day wrestling with financial paperwork. Rob slept for much of the day, damn him. Delia was teary at bedtime again.

I am very fed up with being a responsible person.

I'm in Wyoming, MN right now. My mother is congregation president and had to make the decision to cancel church this morning. It was the right call, the parking lot wasn't plowed and we couldn't get out, and a lot of the side/neighborhood roads weren't plowed until late morning.

I found myself unreasonably cranky all day Sunday. There were moments of joy, of course, because you can't stay cranky all the time with puppies around. Much of the cranky, building up until I was finally able to eat something in peace and watch a Nature program re: the Andes. Back to my usual calm self now.
