It's easy for me to promise not to post spoilers--I probably won't read the book until sometime between weeks and years after it comes out.
Then again, I use "contains spoilers for X" lj-cut labels on a lot of my book discussions, if they do--even for books that have been in print for years or decades, or sometimes that have been out of print that long.
