Date: 2007-06-22 07:36 pm (UTC)I was a bit surprised at the immense quantity of bread in the Italy picture. With all the talk about the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet, I expected something a little ... I dunno, lower-glycemic. Of course, who's to say how representative these families are? Or if there is really any such thing as a representative family? You could probably get this much variety with 15 families from the U.S. if you picked them right.
