Taking a breather

pegkerrWe have stopped painting for the day, after finishing a coat of primer. The brushes have been rinsed out for the time being. We still have paint spattered all over our skin, but we haven't bothered to clean too much of it off, because we'll just get it all over us tomorrow again anyway.
The thing is, there isn't anywhere in the house, really, for me to relax. Much of the contents of the girls room is exploded all over my office. My computer is still down in Rob's TV room, where Rob and the girls are watching TV.
*Sigh* I guess I'll just grab a book and retreat to my bedroom.
Which is piled high with laundry, dammit.
