Everybody's crabby
Sep. 12th, 2007 09:37 pmFiona, Rob and Delia are all courting colds.
The girls' room is still a painting mess. They are still sleeping in the living room. Their stuff is still strewn all over my office.
Their homework is all over the dining room table.
MY COMPUTER IS STILL STUCK IN ROB'S TV ROOM, THE ROOM I FIERCELY HATE THE MOST IN THE HOUSE BECAUSE IT HAS THE TELEVISION AND ALL OF ROB'S MESS AND HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING FURTHER TO TROUBLE SHOOT THE GODDAMNED WIRELESS PROBLEM UNTIL THE WEEKEND. I will surely explode in screaming bloody shreds before then.
I lost two hours of work today, driving to Delia's school earlier than I intended (due to a miscommunication about whether or not she should have gotten on the school bus), then went to the doctor's (the doctor's office had confirmed the appointment two days ago)--only to discover that they had called and left me a message yesterday that I hadn't yet picked up, canceling the appointment. Thanks a bloody lot.
Delia was in tears when I picked her up. She reported having a bad day at school.
Rob missed his get together with friends tonight so that he could spend hours trying to fix the printer so that Fiona could print her school report. The phone support people had shut down for the night ten minutes before he found the number. After three hours he can only get it to print blue ink. If the teacher complains, he will lose vital parts of his anatomy.
The delay in getting the printer to work has meant that Fiona has not gotten to watch any Buffy reruns tonight. Woe.
Delia did not eat any of the dinner she asked me to make. She felt too sick to go to karate.
I left my coat at the confirmation meeting at church and had to go back for it.
Delia just got reprimanded for reading forty-five minutes past bedtime. And she roared back at me that she can't sleep because the light from the dining room where Fiona is doing her homework is keeping her awake. So I turned out the light in the dining room and now Fiona is trying to type in the dark.
I am covered with green paint.
I didn't get to go to the dojo and hit anything today.
