Heh. It's in our union contract that if we are asked to work overtime on a regular work day they have to give us dinner money and a cab home if it's after dark. Plus the time-and-a-half.
Weekend work (or any day you would not normally work, if you don't work M-F) is double time, and for a minimum of 3 hours.
