What an idiot

I just absent-mindedly ate four chocolate-covered coffee beans. I love them, but what was I thinking? I know I can't eat those past noon, and I already had my ration of four this morning. Now I'll never be able to get to sleep tonight.

Probably just as well, since I'm going to be crunching on writing up the presentation I did at Nimbus. I swore I wasn't going to do it, and would just send them a synopsis, but I'm caving in.

You know, I was talking to my neurologist about caffeine the other day. I have very different reactions to the caffeine in soda (headache), No-Doz (jitters), and coffee or chocolate-covered coffee beans (multiple cups or handfuls of beans before any reaction at all). I thought maybe I was just nuts, but he said the forms of caffeine in these things are all pretty different and our bodies metabolize them differently.

I'm sure there was a point in there somewhere...
