Why didn't anyone TELL me that Jonathan Coulton was in town last night? I could have heard "Code Monkey" live and I MISSED MY CHANCE????

Well . . . I suppose I wouldn't have been able to go anyway because of Fiona's school conferences.

Still, aw, shoot. I hope it won't be long before he tours here again.

(Was this all a deep-dyed conspiracy on your part, minnehaha B., to keep the insidious "Code Monkey" earworm at bay?)

The Code Monkey earworm is so pervasive that it made me completely forget an interesting dream one morning recently.

JoCo Concerts

I go to every one of his concerts in my city -- all you have to do is sign up on his emailing list. I've never gotten any spam -- just the occasional notification of a tour that includes my city. And his concerts are SO GOOD. Fun and low-key and fast-moving. And you usually get to become part of a large zombie chorus. What could be better? :)
