[livejournal.com profile] heidi8 and [livejournal.com profile] angiej, I hope you forgive me: it's 18,000+ words (58 pages, give or take a few). I'll have it e-mailed to you before noon tomorrow (I need to take it into work to convert it to Word; hope the formatting doesn't give me fits.)

[livejournal.com profile] minnehaha B and [livejournal.com profile] daedala, since it's so huge, (and B. made doubtful noises about the length) I won't send it to you unless you tell me again that you really want to read it. [livejournal.com profile] kijjohnson, you're getting it whether you like it or not.

Those of you who went to Nimbus should be getting this paper when the proceedings are distributed. If you care.

Am crispy melba toast. *falls over*

goodgoodgood.

I really wanted to attend your session, but as it was the same time as [livejournal.com profile] flourish's Snape session, which I was volunteering for...wah.
so many loffly sessions, so little time. I am very much looking forward to your paper. =)

Sternel, who ironically is wearing her Nimbus tshirt today and has already received several double takes, much to her amusement.

I would love to read this if you don't mind.

The paper

is going to be included in a compendium released by the Nimbus committee which will be sent to all Nimbus attendees and, I think, will also be for sale to the general public (on CD-ROM). I'm a bit wary about just e-mailing the paper out into the ether, but I'll let people know when the compendium becomes available. (It'll be bundled with the rest of the other extremely interesting papers which were also presented at the symposium.)

But you can read the preliminary essays that I based my paper upon, in the files section of the Harry Potter for Grownups Yahoo Group here. (I believe you have to join the Yahoo group to read the files; if so, you can do that here.) Feel free to e-mail me with any comments.

Cheers,
Peg
