Hm, trees. I collect leaf pins, but not the whole tree. The people next door cut down one of my favorite local trees when they moved in two years ago. My hubby said it was too close to their house.

However, being a quilter, when I think of trees I think of the "Tree of Life" block, which is in the category of Bible blocks. Doing a search, I found this:

I'm unfamiliar with the website, but it gives a nice meditation on the tree of life, along with the directions on making the block.
