My home computer has crashed

Rob added a couple new pieces of softward and new drivers, trying to get the scanner working; presumably this has something to do with it. Infuriatingly, this happens two weeks before taxes are due. AND Rob was at work when the computer went dead and he didn't get up until 10:30 p.m. AND the home wireless network was down, and I didn't have the information to get it back up so I could at least use of the other computers in the house. I couldn't even make a phone post to LJ, because the phone number for LJ had mysteriously disappeared from my cell phone. I'll add that back in today. Technology was not my friend yesterday.

Gad, I hope he gets it up and running soon. And that my data is all right. Right now it won't even turn on. Dead as a doorstop.

elisem, this happened right after I sent that email to you, so if you replied, I never saw it. I'll try to call you today.

Join the club....mine refuses to acknowledge the internet exsists, or even that a LAN socket exsists. You know its bad when the uni IT guys offer to install Ubuntu on your computer because they are sick of you!!

I'm currently feeling a bit under the weather, so I'm unfortunately not up for anything involving other people today. Gonna try to grow back, so as to be ready in future.
