Maybe there is something magical about the QuinceaƱera celebration. Because we went to Target and looked at girls' dresses and they were all wrong. Too little girly, and she's too developed and/or tall for most of them.

So today, for the first time, Fiona bought a dress from the Women's department.

Here's the dress! It looks even more stunning on her:

Of course, I'll post the pictures once we get them back.

I can see where that will be lovely on her. You, of course, will return it immediately after the pictures, right? ;)

The lines on that dress are lovely and sleek! And the color's striking too - what a great choice.

I'm guessing that the dress came from Juniors, right? as opposed to Women's? (Though I'm not sure the distinction's drawn as clearly at Target as it is at places like Macy's.) I used to like Juniors' dresses a lot, and then one day I could no longer really wear them any more and had to start actually buying my clothing in the Women's department. That's another milestone for the future. But I'm hoping for your sake that Fiona and Delia stay in the Juniors' section for a while yet, as the pieces there are usually about half the price of real Women's Department grownup clothing. (My wallet sure felt it... :-) )
