The buffet door broke and hit Delia on the head. Fortunately, no blood was involved. But now we can't close it.

The silverware drawer also broke this week and now is hanging half open. Can't be closed all the way.

What next????

(Don't answer that.)

May I suggest a bowl of milk and honey left near the threshold? Can't hurt....

When I was 7, I was sitting beneath the "pop down" door of our hutch/buffet on Christmas morning as we unwrapped our stocking gifts.

It sprung a latch and hit me on my head. And it hurt like hell.

And my sister laughed and laughed.

I feel Delia's pain, but I am sure that Fiona did not laugh at her. (My sister was always pleased with my injuries... I dunno why.)
