(Mostly) Good news on the computer

Rob took it in today to the Apple store where his old manager works. Turns out it wasn't the logic board as we feared, but the power supply. They're giving him a deal, not charging him for labor. So it'll be less than a hundred dollars and I should have my computer back tonight. Hurray! We may even be able to do our taxes on time.

Huzzah!!! I was wondering how you were able to post online through all this (besides posting from work, hee hee). For future backup, you might consider getting a Yahoo or Gmail account so you're not totally without e-mail if and when something happens again. Any good news on the cell phone front? I'm glad I was able to wish you luck before it crashed, but still.... jeez.

I've been checking webmail on the girls' computer--all our computers are linked together via a wireless network.

The cell phone company is overnight shipping a replacement battery which I hope to get today. Maybe that will solve that problem. We hope.
