What is with the weather? It's supposed to be cold here in the next couple of days -- probably the same weather you're getting now.

At present, though, I'm just hoping the thunderstorms we're supposed to be having don't blow in early and soak my laundry.

It builds character. [/calvins_dad]

In Rochester in '96, we woke up to an inch and a half of unforecast snow on the ground. On Mother's Day.

Well, even here we don't have last frost until after the 2nd week of May, and that's going back 100 years of history. It's probably even a little later there. I don't think this is unusual. But everyone always thinks it is.

o.O You guys have bizarre weather! Or maybe it is my side of the county that is bizarre? It's gloriously warm out over here in SoCal...

Sigh.

My parents have Vista as their OS, so they have temperatures and current weather for a bunch of places around the world on our sidebar. One of those places in Brainerd - another is Eau Claire, WI - and all yesterday I was watching the spot for Brainerd where it just kept showing snow. And it's April 25th!

Meanwhile, we *finally* got a little rain out here (North-East Victoria, Australia), although not enough yet to do any good: I think we need it to rain for a week straight for it to actually have a decent impact.
