Oh, Livejournal, repository of all knowledge . . .
I've had a mouth canker sore for over a month now. It's not concave, but a bump that refuses to heal. Sometimes ulcerated, sometimes not.
Suggestions? At what point do I get concerned enough to call the doctor?
Edited to add: Okay, thanks. I have an appointment with my clinic today.

The rule of thumb is that any canker sore that doesn't heal in 2 weeks needs to be biopsied. Hopefully it is nothing, but if god forbid it isn't, you want to get it taken care of as soon as possible.
And do see a specialist for this, because chances are your GP will brush it aside.
Good luck!
