Because I'm in [livejournal.com profile] hpalternity and the girls are as well (did I mention how much fun it is?) I am juggling no less than twelve livejournal accounts on this computer. Mine, theirs, and the accounts that are going to be played when new characters are added next year. I'm trying to be careful, but inevitably, I'm going to occasionally reply to a comment someone has made here with the wrong account, which means outing which characters I play. Did it again this morning.

If you sometimes get a comment from me with character name that begins "alt_____" (as in, alt_whatever), I will try (I hope) to immediately delete it and repost it as [livejournal.com profile] pegkerr. If I do, I've unfortunately let you in on the secret of which characters I play. I'd appreciate if you keep that information I've (stupidly) revealed to you under your hat. It wasn't done deliberately. Thanks!

*facepalm*

*drive by huggles*

I've done the opposite. Replied to an alternity comment with nmalfoy. However, I'm not as careful as you to hide my identity. I think a few people know, although most of them guessed. Apparently my musical references give me away.

Sorry, couldn't figure out how to get this to you otherwise.

Rob put in the application today, getting it in just under the wire. Thank you so much for letting us know about this opening!
From: [identity profile] serendipoz.livejournal.com
Good to know it was useful for you and Rob. I wasn't certain. I'm out of work again (long story) - so if you hear about computer support/programming/development jobs you can let me know.

I'll cross my fingers for Rob though!

Since I don't know who you are and you are all awesome, I wanted to congratulate you all on the wonderful job you are doing, I got all my friends hooked and I am having to translate and relate the story in Portuguese to the rest of the family.

Are the girls already playing or starting later on? I just so curious, about this...

Oh and of course, don't worry, I wont say a word!

Here via [livejournal.com profile] flourish. I run [livejournal.com profile] lightning_war and have over 100 accounts. This mistake is easy to make, and does not make you a stupid head; however, if you use the firefox browser, check out [livejournal.com profile] ljlogin and try the LJ login extension. This add-on makes it possible for you to change which LJ, IJ (LW is now on IJ) or GJ you're signed into with a single click, then (if you tick that box in preferences) reloads the page for you. :)

It also displays which account you're signed in as in the status bar, so I can for example look there and see, right now, that I'm signed into both LJ and IJ as [livejournal.com profile] ataniell93--or, if I'm about to comment on a post, to see that I'm signed in as [livejournal.com profile] luxserpentis, who is AU Lucius Malfoy at age 11 and might not have an opinion on the latest election results (or at least one worth hearing).
