I am having a difficult time with these dark days.

I'll be entirely alone at Christmas this year.

Having a lot of widow feels.

I'm very lucky I've been able to isolate so I can be with my Dad for this first Christmas without Mom.

I wish I could give you company, and comfort. It's so dark. I really choked up when I saw the lussekatter in your photo. I'm hoping to make a vegan version. It will be plenty dark for a while yet.

I think a lot of people are struggling with the idea of being totally alone on Christmas (my mom's one of them). I'm hoping that some of you can band together and create your own family-of-choice by Zoom.
