I know you don't care

but I did a workout yesterday and today, and have promised siriologist that we will e-mail each other to report workouts, so we can keep each other honest. Hold me to it, people. I have been wearing a walking pedometer, but I haven't been working out since last May. I did a Cathe Friedrich step workout yesterday, and a FIRM workout today. And oooohhhhh I hurt all over, even though I tried to take it easy. Shocking how much muscle tone you can lose by sleeping in instead of working out for five months.

I am wearing one black sock and one blue sock. And my pants are a wee bit short, so you can definitely see it.

I feel like a dork.

Chick lit

I suppose that according to this article, the ice palace book would fit the definition of chick lit. But then so would Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, Wuthering Heights, etc.

Not saying the ice palace book is as good as these, of course. But am not going to worry about it.

This poem for me contrasts the healthy creative mind with a mind crippled by depression. It's about the best description of depression (what it is like and how it feels) that I have ever read. Consider it also as a compare/contrast between the heart of flesh and the heart of stone.
