New Layout

I have a new haircut. I did spring housecleaning and threw out a dumpster's worth of stuff. Why not a new LJ layout? Something totally different, bright and cheerful to fit my mood.

I've seen some people have their entries set up so that they have an option for "Current Book" or "Currently Reading." How does one do that?

Am still tinkering

because I'm trying to find a look that I like that has a format I like that's also easy to print entries, since I'm printing entries periodically to keep for the girls' memory book. Eventually I'll pick something; meanwhile, I'm going to be experimenting a bit.
