Finally saw Spiderman 2 tonight

Twice.

What is my responsibility?

And how can I arrange my life so that I can live up to it?

Watching that movie on top of reading The Silmarillion all week and consequently thinking nonstop about heroes is probably rather dangerous.

Curious

Where are people getting all these cartoons-of-self icons? It is sheer coincidence that they are showing up on so many friends pages? Is someone drawing them on request? Is it a program somewhere? This inquiring mind wants to know, because yeah, I'd kinda like to have one.

Just sent a fan note of appreciation to Verlyn Flieger, (Splintered Light). I just finished The Silmarillion today for the first time, and yes, I was right: reading Flieger's book added immensely to my ability to finish and really appreciate The Silmarillion. Whereas before I wasn't able to finish it, this time I enjoyed it intensely.

I'll be interested to see if she responds.
