I watched the interview

Okay, it wasn't too embarrassing. Not bad, actually. Thanks to those of you who watched it first and assured me it was safe for me to see.

[But I wished I'd had someone (my mother maybe) standing over to one side outside the range of the camera hissing at me, "Sit up straight!"]

Saturday: Stew and starting seeds

I made a huge batch of Bilbo's Underground Stew, enough to serve six. It is delicious. Of course, I am the only person in my house who will eat it. All right, maybe I didn't quite think that through.

I planted another flat of impatiens and two windowsill boxes of basil. I'm running out of room under the lights, and don't quite know where I could set up some more. The seeds are beginning to sprout. Okay, this could get addictive.

No writing today. Bad Peg, no biscuit.
