This video follows the page of a $25 loan from London, England to Preak Tamao village, Cambodia. Kiva.org is a website that allows internet users like you or I to lend money to people that need it in developing countries, with the aim of empowering them to lift themselves out of poverty.
Let me know if you're interested in signing up for a Kiva account, and I'd be happy to send you an invite.

I really wracked my brains yesterday, but couldn't think of what to post about that made the world a better place. But then I started thinking again about the stuff I do every day, routinely. I had mentioned taking a lunch in a laptop lunchbox (which I did do yesterday). Then another thought of something I did yesterday occurred to me, and I figured I count it for yesterday as long as I talked about it here. (I'm not sure, really. Do I get to check off my ticky box if I do it every day anyway? Does posting something (belatedly, the next day) along the lines of "here's something YOU might do" count for MY good deed for the day? I started to post about it last night, but I was too tired. Well, I didn't have any thing else, so here goes. I'll count it toward my master list.
I have a product to extoll, and it relates to a charitable opportunity, aiding women in Africa. I used the product yesterday. I didn't do the charitable opportunity, because I just found out that I have to put another $250 - $300 into my car, and I don't have the budget to drop charitable dollars every day. But I'll tell YOU about it, in case you'd like to do so.
( Ahem. Boys, this one definitely ISN'T for you. The product is called . . . Party in My Pants. )
( The charitable opportunity is Goods 4 Girls )
